Decree fixing Patent and Design or
Model Rights , reintroducing payment for maintenance in Italy
of Patents, Utility Models and Design or Models has been signed
by the Industry Minister along with Finance Minister, and published
on the Official Gazette of April 6, 2007.
Maintenance fees for Patents, Utility Models and Designs or Models
due in months January, February, March and April are due within
June 30, 2007 (plus a six month period for payment with fine);
Maintenance fees for May and June (and so on) are due within the
end of the corresponding month;
Fee for Utility Models and Designs for which the payment of the
five-year period was due in 2006, and for which the extension
request has been filed in due time during 2006, are due within
June 30, 2007 (plus a six month period for payment with fine)
