The iter of the Italian ratification
of the Revision Act of the Convention on the Grant of European
Patents came to the end.
According to the information available to the EPO, on
6 December 2007 Italy filed with the Chancellery of the German
Federal Republic the instruments of ratification of the Revision
Act of the Convention on the Grant of European Patents (Munich,
29 November 2000 - “EPC2000”).
Italy will continue to be one of the Member States of the European
Patent Organisation. Filings of new European patent applications
and validation in Italy of granted European patents can continue
without any interruption.
