Draft Financial Law (Budget) 2007 – 29/9/2006
Article 104 (Chapter 10) of the draft Financial legislation
(Budget) currently before Parliament, concerning “Urgent
measures for the constitution of new funds and other interventions
for industrial innovation” ratifies the law reintroducing
duties on patents (previously inserted in the Industry 2015 draft
law), and determines the time frame for implementation.
The new schedule foresees that duties on patents will be defined
within thirty days from the entry into force of the Financial
Law (Budget) 2007 by decree of the Ministry for Economic Development
in collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy.
Therefore, we estimate that by January 2007, the terms and relative
formalities will be clarified.
