I started with Barzanò & Zanardo in 2012 and developed professionally in the Vicenza office where my legal-economic training allowed me to better serve small and medium-sized Italian companies in the management of everyday problems concerning their more intangible assets.
Since joining the Milan office in 2017, I have consolidated my professional skills, assisting my clients starting with availability trademark searches, to the study and development of the filing strategy, all the way to the prosecution and defence of trademark rights before both the Italian Trademark Office (UIBM), and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Over the years I have gained appreciable experience in the procedures before such Offices, especially regarding opposition and refusal proceedings, on behalf of Italian and foreign clients. Furthermore, I have negotiated various out-of-court coexistence agreements.
The different work scenarios that I have found myself facing, never the same twice, have afforded me constant growth at the professional level and the development of a daily, proactive approach with the client.
I am also a qualified attorney with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the Patent and Trademark Office of the Republic of San Marino (USBM). Additionally, I am a member of INTA.
